Huh?
After a 3 month dip in hits that I'm mostly attributing to a) lack of updates and b) general school craziness for many readers, our daily average thus far for June is stomping ass over every other month but October '05. I don't know what I've been doing, but dang it, I'd best to keep it up. Feel the AoU love, bitches!*
On to today's comic. I've elected to start the storyline despite not getting some key character design done. Turns out it's a LOT harder to draw stuff digitally when one's optical mouse is constantly plugged with cat hair. If I can't get a decent digital version going, I'll just revert to hand-drawn comics as needed. And now you know.
I think this story's going to be fun. I'm only worried about the lack of Brodie-ness in it... but he hogged the spotlight in the Mosquito Man series, and Cam and Scott got kind of cranky about that. It's their time to shine. I haven't gotten all the stips worked out yet, but I can tell you that there are going to be a lot more auxillary characters showing up than usual. And more on the whole love and dating scene than I usually care to bother with, come to think of it.
Semi-good news on the personal front: looks as though the Cammi's landed a tutoring job in the fall. Not that it helps pay the rent or keep me from starving now, but it's a start. Perhaps I should clean out the old crappy t-shirts and replace them with new shiny ones (like I've been meaning to do since March) and hope some cash comes outta that while I continue my quest to be rejected by every employer in the city. Good times.
