Wait... boo! No, Yay! er...
Good news bad news time. The good news? I got my computer running again. Kind of. Bad news? It cost me $200 + in new motherboards and power supplies. I also managed to get Linux all reinstalled and pretty. I even managed to recover Windows just as it was. Or so I thought - it's all fugged up. I can't get my copy of PhotoDeluxe going, and Illustrator is working only in the loosest sense of the word. Oh, and despite the fact that they're one unit, my scanner works, but the printer isn't talking to the computer. So I get to install Windows again tonight. Or tomorrow. Either way.
I'm just happy I've got the computer god himself on my side. Dad managed to get me through the bits I'm unsure of. I have to do Windows myself, but it's not particularly hard to install, which is good, given how many times you how to reinstall to get it running. So again, thanks Dad! (Round of applause, everyone)
So, long story short, AoU should be back to it's regular Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday schedule now, and I absolutely promise to get the store up and running next week.
Oh yeah... today's comic looks a little screwy cause I had to use a different program to color it. If I can master it, I may switch over, as PhotoDeluxe gets on my nerves from time to time.
Now, the Cammi is heading to bed, and she plans on getting absolutely blasted tomorrow night. Heh. Poor Jocelyn gets the pirate I've been promising to make, but also has to put up with me all drunk and obnoxious. No comments about me being obnoxious anyway!
